Our first Special Promotion will benefit True Blue Animal Rescue who recently took in 28 starving, mistreated thoroughbred horses. We have lots of pet and animal paintings on exhibit and will even have a silent auction with low starting bids on October Daily Paintings.

A special benefit promotion will donate 100% of sales to True Blue Animal Rescue from professional artist associates of Art Helping Animals including Stella Violano (California), Sandra Merwin (Montana), Melinda Dalke (Oregon), Carol Chretien (Massachusetts) and Vernita Bridges-Hoyt (Texas).

To date, there are 17 daily paintings to view. A new painting is added each day.

We were closed nearly all of September due to loss of electrical power during Hurricane Ike. Barring another weather catastrophe or family emergency, the plan is to open the studio on weekends through the Fall and Holiday Season.

We are in the dog days of summer and Pet Fest in Old Town Spring is just around the corner. We will be showing more Art Helping Animals in September and October, but the official Pet Fest is for the weekend of October 18-19. This is a big event to help animals in need. Texas Sauce Studio will be donating 100% of sales from animal paintings to True Blue Animal Rescue (T-bar). More info to follow.

The Art Walk reception for watercolorist Bill Epps has been postponed to Saturday, May 3 -- 4:00 - 8:00 p.m. Please feel free to come and go, but we hope you'll drop in and view the exhibit of 30 watercolor paintings by Epps. Two new paintings were hung last week.

If you missed the artist's reception at Texas Sauce Studio in early March, you have one more chance to meet the artist and view the diversified and alternative art of Sean Ozz.

Art Walk in Old Town Spring is on the last Saturday of each month. March 29 is the date! Texas Sauce Studio will be open to the public all day Saturday, and Sean Ozz (our March guest artist) will be in the gallery from 5:00 pm - 8:00 pm Saturday evening to meet and talk with you. We look forward to having you stop by Texas Sauce Studio to view art and meet Sean Ozz before his work leaves our gallery.

We are exhibiting a variety of alternative artworks by Sean Ozz throughout March 2008 including works on canvas, paper, metal, glass and more. Artworks are available for purchase, and motorcycle designs can be commissioned.

A native Texan, Sean Ozz studied art at the University of Houston, then lived and worked in California for ten years developing his art style before returning to Texas four years ago. After ten years of custom tattooing experience, Sean Ozz perfected his airbrush technique to bring RC paint to the next level. Word of his skill spread, and today Sean Ozz is known for his airbrush design on motorcycles.

He was recently commissioned to paint two airbrush portraits, one on the tailgate of a pickup truck. He puts his heart and soul into every design project. Sean Ozz is 100% professional artist.

Check out all the art in Old Town Spring. Additional galleries will be open including Garden of the Dragonfly and Mason's. Wimberley Valley Winery and several restaurants will be open for your enjoyment as well.
